2005 - Breast Resource Center of SB
 The
beneficiary for M4L 2005 was chosen based on the fact that 7 of
our members had or were currently battling breast cancer. Teaming
up with SB Triathlon , The Breast Resource Center of SB was adopted
by M4L for 2005. Many of our survivors had said that what they could
use most was money to help with this very expensive disease. A special
cash fund was set up for local women at the BRC of SB who may need
cash to cover expenses. There is over $30,000 in the fund thanks
to the members of M4L and the fundraiser DIVAS
at the Double Tree. The SB Triathlon raised over $37,000, so
that makes for a combined effort of nearly $70,000! WOW!
